Modern Fruit Growing Rising in Thrace
Karfrut, operating in the Yenice and Sarılar regions of Tekirdağ, has been a pioneer in apple production with the dwarf fruit growing model since 2006. Seven different apple varieties are grown on Karfrut's approximately 700-decare production areas.
The Fruti brand carries out production at a 250-decare high-technology park on the Sarılar road. Both brands use modern agricultural practices such as drip irrigation, trellis training systems and hail nets.
Going beyond traditional agricultural products in the Thrace region, Karfrut proves that intensive fruit growing is possible; with its integrated model managing production, storage and sales processes under one roof, it holds the title of the region's first large-scale producer.
