A summer variety of New Zealand origin. It is the only summer apple variety whose quality is gradually being accepted worldwide. One reason for this is that some clones produce much more colorful fruit.

Of US origin. Its weak, semi-upright tree performs well on M26, M106 and MM111 rootstocks.
