- Developed as a result of French-American crossbreeding.
- The variety is fully resistant to scab and has been bred for tolerance to powdery mildew (Oidium) and reduced sensitivity to common phytophagous pests.
- Although the quality standard of its fruit is slightly lower than that of the best-known varieties (Golden Delicious, etc.), it is still at an acceptable level.
- The fruit is medium to large in size.
- It is resistant to handling and harvesting operations.
- With its bright red skin, it has very good storage characteristics.
